Terms of Service

By accessing or using FestivalCards ("the Service", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service.

FestivalCards is an online platform that allows individuals and businesses to:

• Create personalised digital Festival greeting cards.
• Customise cards with brand names, greeting messages, and business logos.
• Generate shareable QR codes and links (Premium).
• Download high-resolution card images (Premium).

The Service is primarily designed for Sri Lankan users and is offered in both English and Sinhala.

FestivalCards offers two tiers of access:

Premium access is tied to the email address you provide. It is non-transferable and valid for one individual or business.

Premium access is a 1 year payment of Rs. 499, processed manually via WhatsApp. Once payment is confirmed and your email is activated, the following applies:

• Premium access is non-expiring for the current Festival season's feature set.
• Payments are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
• We do not store any payment card details; all transactions are handled directly via messaging.

You are permitted to use FestivalCards for:

• Creating personal greeting cards for friends and family.
• Creating branded cards for legitimate businesses, organisations, or institutions.
• Sharing generated cards and QR codes on social media, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
• Using downloaded cards in digital marketing materials related to your business.

You must not use FestivalCards to:

• Share or resell your premium access credentials with others.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Sri Lankan law.
• Upload logos or images that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform's code or services.
• Use the service to spread misinformation, hate speech, or content that disrespects religious sentiments.
• Impersonate another individual, brand, or organisation without authorisation.

Our content: All artwork templates, designs, code, and branding on FestivalCards are owned by FestivalCards Digital. You may not reproduce or redistribute these assets outside of the intended use of the Service.

Your content: You retain full ownership of any brand name, logo, or text you upload or enter into the platform. By using the Service, you grant FestivalCards a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content for the purpose of generating your greeting card — nothing more.

FestivalCardsk is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• The quality of downloaded cards will meet every individual expectation.
• The Service will be free from viruses or other harmful components (though we take all reasonable precautions).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, FestivalCards Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or business opportunities.
• Errors in generated cards or QR codes.
• Third-party platform issues affecting the sharing of generated content.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium access (Rs. 499).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
